Project overview

A digital home for community, education, and connection.

Glow & Gather is a San Antonio esthetics community. The website was created to present its identity, preserve the story of Vol. 3, recognize event partners, and give people a clear way to stay close to future gatherings.

The final experience brings the event story, authentic supplied photography, organizer thank-you, sponsor hierarchy, and future-interest path into one coherent responsive page.

The goal

Let the real gathering lead.

Bring event communication, the organizers’ voice, sponsor recognition, and future-interest updates into one clear website without losing the warmth and familiarity already associated with Glow & Gather.

Brand direction

Warm editorial

A warm editorial palette of cream, paper, cocoa, soft beige, and champagne accents supports the restored champagne-gold wordmark. Cormorant Garamond, DM Sans, and real event imagery carry the identity through the finished website.

Website experience

Editorial pacing for an event story.

Large serif statements, restrained utility details, real photography, and warm surfaces give the page the cadence of an event journal rather than a generic event template.

Design outcome

Clearer structure. Stronger visual continuity.

The completed project gives Glow & Gather a more cohesive presentation, a clearer information hierarchy, organized sponsor communication, and an intentionally designed mobile experience. These are outcomes of the design itself—not claims about attendance, traffic, leads, or revenue.

Client testimonial

What I loved most was how naturally Joel understood what I wanted for Glow & Gather. He brought the site to life in a way that felt authentic to us.

Working with Joel at Forerunner Creative was an incredible experience from start to finish. From day one, he made the process feel smooth, fun, and completely stress-free. He was easy to work with, kept me in the loop every step of the way, and had an unbelievably fast turnaround time.

He also guided me toward the right branding colors while being mindful of our previous designs, helping us keep that familiar magic while elevating the overall look.

Throughout the process, I felt supported and confident that everything was in the best hands. My favorite thing about the final site is how clean, seamless, and beautifully organized it feels.

If you’re looking for a designer who truly listens, works fast, and delivers excellent work, I can’t recommend Joel and Forerunner Creative enough.
